It takes a fat chick...

to understand what it's really like - the issues, judgments, and struggles of being a middle-aged obese woman.  So much information to sort thru.  Do this.  No, do that.  Even better, do this instead while standing on your head, rubbing your tummy and repetitively chanting some motivational verse.  Honestly, it's just too confusing and too much work to try to keep up with the latest and greatest.  Especially since next week it will all change.

At 54 yrs and 350 lbs, maybe this time a different approach is in order.  Something personal and closer to home.   What is it that works for Me?  Just me.  Throw out all of the latest and greatest.  Do my own thing and see where it lands.  Odds are I won't be any worse off than following the most recent weight loss flavor of the month.
